From the Publisher

Troubled Waters: An Unauthorised and Unofficial Guide to Dawson's Creek is a new title in Virgin Publishing's range of unofficial programme guides - and a deserving addition to the list. Scott Andrews takes you through the episodes of seasons one to four, charting the lives of the characters and where they cross, including the logic flaws that necessarily result, where the characters seem to be aware they are just characters, and how the world around the show affects it. Whether you're new to the show or a seasoned fan, this is your ultimate companion guide to the world of Dawson, Joey, Pacey and Jen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dawson's Creek the way a fan would see it, 15 Jun 2002
Troubled Waters is the ultimate fan's guide to Dawson's Creek. It disects every episode ever of the show and is perfect for catching up if ever you miss an episode. Andrews details everything from the Soundtrack to the best fan sites, as well as recommendations about similar shows and he even explores the ever-present movie theme. Andrews' style is not to be missed as it is warm, funny and you get the feeling that he really enjoys the show too. Dawson's Creek through a fan's eyes. Not to be missed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Guide - really well written! A must buy., 30 Sep 2004
By markyg (Newcastle, U.K.) - See all my reviews
I was expecting this to be a tie-in with those poor Dawson's Creek fiction books aimed at pre-14 year olds, but I was very surprised when I found it to be one of the most articulate, accessible and down-to-earth guides I have ever read, well, on anything! He is really fun, witty and you can tell he enjoyed writing the book.
It has all the information on the show without going into dregs of detail and some interesting balanced views on the characters and plots (at a generous but not full-to-bursting size), and its broken into subsections through the episodes that make it really easy to follow, with all sorts of interesting details and facts that make the show seem much clearer.
He's said he wont do a follow up on Seasons 5 & 6 but he really should.
If you want to know about the show, or even if you dont and just want a good read, buy this book. This is ur guy.
