Product Description

Product Description

Arguably the world's greatest rock band, AC/DC have earned their place in the annuls of music history. For almost 30 years they have distilled the essence of rock 'n' roll, intoxicating each new generation of rock fans with their take-no-prisoners attitude and no-nonsense live shows. Through the files of "Kerrang" and "Sounds", this book tells the story of AC/DC's career - from their days as a covers band in Sydney, Australia, in the early 70s, through the years of world domination and intense tragedy, to the 21st century and their recognition as true rock legends.

4.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant book, 31 Aug 2001
By A Customer
The AC/DC book is one of the best reads of my life. It tells you when they started the band who the members are and about them. Although i am only 14 i enjoyed this book alot. I guess that AC/DC are my best band. I already new alot about the band but this book expands my knowledge about AC/DC. This book tells you about every thing you would possibly want or need to know about Angus, Malcolm,Cliff,Phill or Brian. If you would like to enjoy this book as much as i have i guess you would just have to buy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Utterly dire., 30 Sep 2006
By maz "maz" (Kent , England) - See all my reviews
I can't begin to describe how bad this book is. I'm not expecting Dickens or Bronte style of literacy, but is so badly written it's almost unreadable.

The author seem to be under the impression that the readers are semi literate. After I had forced my way through it, I weasn't any the wiser about AC/DC anyway.

Don't bother.
