Product Description
Just when you thought it was safe to leave the house, there comes a brand new book to remind you that dangerous idiots still lurk everywhere. THE DARWIN AWARDS is the bestselling humour series that honours those people who improve the human gene pool by inadvertently removing themselves from it in sublimely idiotic ways. Meet the sheriff who inadvertently shot himself TWICE. Pay homage to the artist who strung a "shell" necklace of live ammunition. Salute the parachute instructor who forgot to strap on his own parachute when he jumped out of the plane. And marvel at the man who put his ear against the rail tracks to listen for the arrival of a train scheduled to stop at his station and was killed by an incoming express train. With over 100 brand-new awards winners, honourable mentions and urban legends, this new collection of magnificent misadventures and macabre mishaps is the must-have humour title for the holiday season and beyond.
