If you enjoyed Corner House Girls, this book should be on your list - it follows the story of Phyl and Jo and the other Nippies into the Second World War. Scrambling to work through bombed streets, trying to decide which war work to do, worrying about sweethearts and facing tragedy... all against the now familiar backdrop of the Lyons Corner House. I hope you like it.

At the time of writing (31 January) Corner House Girls has already gone into its third impression, so it seems as if many of you are enjoying that.

If you want to know yet more - the third book in the series, PS I LOVE YOU will be out later this year.

Who, on reading this gripping sequel to Corner House Girls, cannot see the devastation of war torn London, so vividly drawn, or feel the joys and agonies of the girls and their families. Truly evocative of the horrors of all out war yet it inspires a deep admiration for these women and their men who refused to be defeated in those dark hours.

A novel I found very hard to put down. I await the third in the series, PS I Love You, with eager anticipation.

I couldn't wait for my copy of "Kiss the Girls Goodbye" to come and I can tell you that I was not dissapointed. The books continues to focus on the lives of the Nippys of the Corner House. I love the way that Ms. Harry can make the reader feel like they are part of the action and care for the characters. I can't wait for the next in this series to come out.

Kiss the Girls Goodbye continues the story of the characters that we first met in Corner House Girls. The action is set during the Second World War taking us through the unsettling time of the "phoney war" and then the heartbreak of the blitz, we share the triumphs and tragedies of the lives of the characters. A brilliant book, well written. I cant wait for the next installment.
