Product Description

Product Description

Selected by Orion for a major promotion - a delicious new comedy of love life and manners by the author whose 1st novel, A BREATH OF FRESH AIR, was a Sunday Times Bestseller. Erica ame's compelling combination of sharp humour, utterly believable characters and superb storytelling promise to make this another great read - and a bestseller.

About the Author

With an insatiable appetite for other people's business, Erica James will readily strike up conversation with strangers in the hope of unearthing a useful gem for her writing. She finds it the best way to write authentic characters for her novels, although her two grown-up sons claim they will never recover from a childhood spent in a perpetual state of embarrassment at their mother's compulsion. The author of thirteen bestselling novels, including Gardens of Delight which won the Romantic Novel of the Year Award, and her recent Sunday Times top ten bestseller, Its the Little Things, Erica now divides her time between Cheshire and Lake Como in Italy, where she now strikes up conversation with unsuspecting Italians.

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely entertaining book full of interesting characters, 14 July 2002
By A Customer
The third Erica James book I have read and I enjoyed it greatly. The residents of Cholmford Hall Mews are varied and full of interest for the reader. Their lives and problems are varied and I particularly liked the characters of Jessica and Josh. Jessica's mother, Anna, provides humour and the lives of everyone move along at a fast pace. A book you will enjoy very much.
