5.0 out of 5 stars Finally a book for beginer investors, 4 Dec 1999
By A Customer
This book must be one of the first english books to clearly guide a novice investor into the stock market. It was well laid out and the system was a very clear one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Accessible stock market advice for the average person, 18 May 1999
By A Customer
I must say I enjoyed this book. Mrs Cohen's book is easy to read. Excellent if you are a beginner. It contains a lot of useful advice. Most importantly of all, it gives the reader a good start in stock market investment. Unlike a lot of similar books on the market, this book is clear and not full of jargons. The author shares her own investment experience throughtout with the reader and describes her investment technique of 'FASTER GAINS'to the reader. I have found the technique to be based on sound foundation. This book is full of useful facts/information and save the new investor a lot of footwork. However, I found the part on technical analysis confusing at time, having to refer back to material covered earlier. But it serves well the purpose of trend spotting illustration. To summarize, this book is a 'buy' if you are a novice investor looking for a well-rounded route to the stock market. For the more experienced, the reference section provide a good starting point for further research and knowledge seeking.
