"Aston Martin: The Legend" covers every production model (up to the DB7) to have left the factory in chronological order, and offers on average two pages of text, pictures and statistics for each model. The text is knowledgeable and descriptive, whilst the photos capture the cars in all their beauty.

Perhaps the book could have benefitted from more detail about the racing efforts, particularly considering the importance of Le Mans to Aston Martin fans. Also, enthusiasts wishing to see contemporary pictures of the cars will be disappointed as, for example, shots of the competition cars are from recent Goodwood meetings rather than the classic Le Mans races of the 1950s.

Having said that though, any enthusiast wishing to either learn more about the marque or wanting a complete illustrated history of Aston Martin will be more than satisfied with this book.

As a keen motorist, this book was particularly appealing and interesting. It gives good witten and photographic details of these fantastic cars. This book would remain in any knowledgeable motorist's collection and therefore certainly will in mine.
