5.0 out of 5 stars no bull from the bullet, 13 Aug 2004
Wow, what a fantastic book... I read it from start to finish in a day and just couldn't put it down.
If you are interested in speedway, especially if you are a 'Heathens' or 'Bees' fan, I cannot recommend this book enough.
Giving a full and completely honest view of his time in Speedway, Billy really shoots from the hip and leaves no stone unturned. The story is phenominal and, at times, leaves you with a tear in your eye and a bitter taste in your mouth.
Whether discussing his time with Cradley, Belle Vue or Coventry, or talking about his untimely withdrawl from British League and G.P. and the Kenny Roberts situation the book pulls no punches.
As the man says himself...'No Bull'!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, 31 Jul 2004
I have read many speedway books, but this one tops them all! Brian Burford back again with an amazing book about an amzing guy. It had me hooked for the whole of my holiday. i didnt want to put it down. Since reading the book I have also felt that I can understand all of Billys actions in the Speedway scene.
This is a must read
