5.0 out of 5 stars The Story of America's wild boys, 15 Sep 2003
I'm not a regular speedway supporter but I well remember Kelly and Shawn Moran. They were real characters and I can recall Kelly being one of the few riders to make the tabloids. This book has some excellent anectdotes from the brothers themselves and the riders, promoters and rivals who all recall their memories of the brothers. I was particularly fascinated with Shawn's fued with Don Godden, and also how he lost his runners-up spot in the World Championship. And Kelly's adventures in South Africa, and the off-track hotel accident in Poland is well documented. It has some fascinating photos from their early days, and is very well written and entertaining.
