Not in the same league as the extraordinary Home of the Shouting Men, this book is nonetheless a must have, with useful text and a great set of pictures tracing the club's 107 year history.

Needs updating now the Gills are in Division 1.

As a life long fan of the club I ordered the book as soon as the title was advertised on Amazon. Any person interested in the club, the history of the Medway towns or the history of football in general will find this book a welcome addition to their libruary. Contains more pictures that text you can trace the club from its non-league origins up to (almost) the play-off final at Wembley. A good buy for the price.
