The history of the club is presented using a sequence of team groups, player portraits, action shots and unique memorabilia, including matchday programme covers for all of Aberdeen's Scottish Cup Final appearances until 1970, match tickets for the 1937 and 1970 finals, and an autographed first-day cover for the 1970 triumph over Celtic. Particular detail is also paid to the Championship win of 1954/55, and the League Cup Final victory of 1955/56.
These rare images are supported with superb text from the author. His captions contain a wealth of fact, anecdote and opinion, all of which provide us with an impression of the character of the club and some of its heroes over the generations.
