Very enjoyable, the questions cover a wide range of topics and plenty to choose from.
I was, however, a bit disappointed to see that despite the glossy cover, it was all in black in white and tended to smudge quite easily, especially when the kids got their dirty mitts on it! Some colour to make it feel like a quiz book than a school textbook would have been nice.
That's just about the only thing i find wrong with it. Layout is very good, all 3 lifelines can be used like in the real game and answers at the back. Just because it's a book, doesn't mean that the question-writers don't make it any easier for you!
As me and my friends did, you can even reinact the night that the Major cheated his way to a million, and making it twice as fun, cough cough!

I was given this book and I played the quiz game with my family. We had hours of fun! We lost track of time and I missed Neighbours. This is rare! I love this book more than Neighbours.

Nothing much about this book will come as a surprise to anyone who has seen the TV show. The show, as we all know, is the quiz equivalent of the GCSE; everyone wins something, despite the fact that the average contestant seems to have little ability at, or interest in, the subject. The success of the TV show is due to the fact that it fails every test that a real quiz should pass; people watch it not to see displays of knowledge, nor because they enjoy the chance to answer the 20-odd questions which you might see in a 30 minute programme, but to see the suffering and relief of "ordinary" people being put through torture. The book dispenses with the more frustrating elements of the TV show (the expensive process of 'phoning up and not getting on, the sight of people winning thousands of pounds for knowing that grass is usually green, Chris Tarrant), but retains enough to prove initially frustrating (�100 questions which your cat could answer, gimmicky "lifelines" for the more ignorant participants). If you enjoy the programme then doubtless you will enjoy the book (and also the quiz machine, the mug, the breakfast cereal and everything else that is bound to flood onto the market), but personally I prefer something a bit more challenging.
