A fantastic insite into Craggy Island and its inhabitants. With everything you would expect from a magazine, all of it high quality humor, from interviews, insights, adverts and mini storys. This book is a must for all Father Ted fans, and comedy lovers.

"Father Ted" is my favourite TV show of all time, and I've lost count of how many times I've seen each episode. There has already been one book about the show - Graham Linehan & Arthur Mathews's superb scripts book (unusual in that it contains the last-but-one version of each script, so there are differences between what appears in the book and what turned up on screen) but this slim volume was also released for the Christmas market.

If I'm brutally honest it is a fairly poor cash-in, and doesn't really seem to work, but it looks wonderful - every page looks exactly like a tatty Church magazine, written with extensive use of a plastic stencil and an ancient typewriter, complete with terrible drawings and tacky-looking adverts. At one stage, "Ted" claims to have acquired a word processor, and the style changes again - this time resembling somebody's first, ham-fisted efforts with a desktop publishing application.

Although I didn't find anything in the book that funny it is a nice memento of a fantastic show. So if you want a laugh, buy the scripts or the DVDs, but if you already have those then this is a worthwhile addition to your shelf.

A brilliantly written book! Just as funny as the series! It contains adverts, articles, drawings and the Parish letter. It's good as a read or just to dip into!

Highly reccommended if you like Father Ted, Tea or are alive!

Go on, go on, go on!
