3.0 out of 5 stars Not as I'd hoped, 8 Aug 2001
By A Customer
After reading 'The Morpheus Factor', I was expecting something similiar. I was disappointed. Although the dialogue and characterisation is good, the plot seems to just float along, without the real pace and excitement of a Stargate episode. Then, there's a sudden rush of action at the end which leaves you thinking, 'What was that?'. You have to read it for yourself, but I think this is not Ashely's best.

5.0 out of 5 stars What can I say - its Stargate!, 5 April 2002
I read this book with the hopes it wouldn't be a tacky re-written plot. In fact, it kept close to the plot and the charactors were almost identicle to how they are portrayed in the series.

As Jack O'Neill would say, I was a happy camper!

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT, 17 Jun 2001
This book by Ashley MCConnel is based on the pilot episode of Stargate SG-1. The way she describes the characters, and the way they interact is better in the book than in the pilot.
