I love Tina Reilly's new book, Wish Upon a Star. It's very funny, it made me laugh out loud at times. But it's also quite serious in places and very well written. Lucy is an actor who works in a vet's as she can't find work. But her sister is a successful model. Lucy has a little girl who wants to know who her dad is so Lucy has to find him.
I'd highly recommend it to any Marian Keyes lover. Top marks and 5 stars.

Every book I have ever read by Tina Reilly is my favourite! She writes with humour & sensitivity. Wish Upon A Star is the only book I've read which has had me in tears, whenever Paddy was being put to sleep. As an animal lover I have never been brave enough to be the 1 in our family to take our pets to the vets when they have been too ill to continue living on this earth in pain & this part of the novel just had me bawling my eyes out, whilst other parts had me laughing my head off!!!

Tina Reilly is definitely the next Marion Keyes & if you haven't yet read any of her work, you really are missing out on a wonderful story teller!

I loved this book - I love all Tina Reilly's books but this one appealled to me as I could relate somewhat to the situation Lucy finds herself in. She's a single mother looking for the father of her child. While the early parts of the book had me laughing out loud - I blubbered uncontrolably during the last forty pages.
A brilliant read!
