About the Author

I read this book due to amazon.co.uk recommending the author - as a result of other purchases I had made in this genre. From the start of the story, about a brutal murder of a "perfect" university lecturer, Hope Devane (ex-Beauty Queen)I was hooked. Alex Delaware helps his police friend by sharing the load and interviewing witnesses and those around the case on a non-confrontational level. As he passes the information back to the detective with his commentary the reader gets the benefit and insight also. When a murder with a similar method is discovered the trail begins and also becomes more intriguing. The author has the valuable knack of painting his characters quickly and efficiently to give the reader an excellent image. I will certainly read more of his work.
