4.0 out of 5 stars well done, 19 Aug 2003

I like Ed McBain books. this is not of the chain of the 87th precint, but really I liked the plot anyway. I didn't like the stories of the lawyer when I first bumped into one book of this series in my inlaws ' home but now I think that I will go on reading all of them.
