Amazon.co.uk Review

The story of the Titanic has held a limitless fascination for people across the world since the day disaster struck. In The Eyewitness Guide to the Titanic the mystery is investigated thoroughly with well researched text complimented by stunning photography.

From views of the wreck on the ocean floor and information on how the survivors were rescued the "unsinkable" Titanic is discussed and debated in detail, while clear and concise snippets of interesting information about the crew, the passengers and that fateful day are relayed to the reader.

Titanic is perfect for homework projects and ideal for anyone who simply wants to find out more. Age 9 and over --Susan Harrison

5.0 out of 5 stars Even adults can enjoy !, 25 Oct 2001
By A Customer
This is a great book that made you excited even if you are adult!. Although I have many books of Titanic, I think a known person like me can also enjoy it very much. A lot of precious photographs of those days, beautiful and accurate illustrations, the description based on sufficient investigation. It is the best book that you can understand the outline of the Titanic disaster.

5.0 out of 5 stars TITANIC EXPLAINED ALL IN THIS BOOK, 28 Oct 2003
By Andrew Hadland (birmingham, west midlands United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This book outlines all of the key events and has precious photography of the tianics opulent interior. It also shows you a look at the wreckage as it is day and as it is 92 years old it has been remarkably preserved. It also gives you an advanced look at the lavish decour of the grand staircase, which of course has the beautiful clock with two figures symbolizing honour and glory crowning time. But not only does it show you astonishing photographs it tells you how many ist 2nd and 3rd and crew survived. This is a book for those of us who believe that Titanic has never truly left us

5.0 out of 5 stars eyewitness titanic is fantastic!!, 9 Mar 2009
This review is from: "Titanic" (Eyewitness) (Paperback)
excellent book. I am a school teacher doing a topic on Titanic with my class of 8/9 years olds. This book is full of valuable and interesting facts which both the children and myself found very useful. It is easy to follow and has some great pictures too.
