5.0 out of 5 stars Great Guide, 23 Nov 2000
By thelambs@emirates.net.ae (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) - See all my reviews
A very useful book when trying to decide what French wines to buy, to drink now or lay down. I did the Bordeaux tour this Summer which I really enjoyed, I'm looking forward to touring other regions in the future. A great gift for anyone interested in wine.

The easy-reference guide was invaluable on a recent foray to Burgundy and, specifically, the Cru Beaujolais region. I now look forward to putting the Bordeaux section to the test.

If you are interested in buying all sorts of wines - or in visiting the vineyards, this is a remarkably well-designed and readable book. It is also great value.
