1.0 out of 5 stars Same old stuff, 14 May 2001
By A Customer
Well it's the same old Taiji type book again- people in flowy Chinesey-type outfits demonstrating limp-wristed postures, advice from dancers and the like. In short p[retty much useless to anyone interested in anything other than slow motion posturing. And as for the "applications".......

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Beginners Guide - Easy to Follow, 31 Mar 2006
By Realscape (London) - See all my reviews
This review is from: T'ai Chi (Hardcover)
I think this book is lovely, a really good introduction to T'ai Chi. There is no ambiguity about what moves to make or how to hold them as the instructions are simple, straightforward, and illustrated with full colour photographs. This is a great starting point for anyone wishing to learn T'ai Chi at home without having to join a class.
