The author's affection for his subject shows through with wit and charm. This is not an overly detailed reference but rather an account of the design, development and demise of the 2CV within the wider social context and history of France and beyond. I think even knowledgeable enthusiasts will find the collection of pictures, especially the early ones from the 30's and 40's, excellent. My only complaint? - the book comes to an end too soon, another 100 pages of the same would have been lovely!
