5.0 out of 5 stars An interesting look at the weather , 7 Jun 2006

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
The majority of people buying this book will be keen mountain dwellers, but whilst enjoying your glorious day in the hills do you know how the weather was formed and is it likely to continue, for you to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

In fairly easy to understand diagrams and explanations Mr Pledley will give you some idea of how Montain weather develops.

Each situation is handled in two or three pages with coloured pictures describing a cloudlees sky, rainy conditions and many others depending on the time of year.

Do not expect indepth analysis of Mountain weather patterns, but just enjoy the basics of how particular weather is formed and how the rest of the day or week should develop.

This book is ideal in explaining a Brochen Specture and how it forms. If you donot know what a Boochen Specture is then buy this book because it will give you an insight on the weather before you head out into the hills.
