5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, clear guide for UK users, 6 Nov 2006

(REAL NAME)
There's a ton of books on building an 'eco-home' but let's face it most of us aren't in a position to build our own place and need to do what we can to our existing home. That's why this book dealing with what you can to to refurbish your existing home in an environmentally friendly way is so good. This is the first book I've found that has pretty much every thing you need in one place. It is also written to be read and acted upon rather than the dry academic texts these books sometimes are. Very practical with losts of web links and references. If you are thinking about any renovations to your home read this first. I wish I had.
