5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book for the HND/C in Computing, 22 Oct 2001
By A Customer
I am a lecturer in computing and have found this book excellent for preparing course work for the students. The students also find the book very helpful as it works from the basic levels all the way through the Higher National curriculum. The subjects are clearly marked and there are useful asides and questions throughout the book. The only things that this book lacks, and understandably so, is the optional units that are required for the qualification. However with the number of these units that are available this is not practical.

Special note should go to the illustrations and tables within the book as they are concise and relevant and have managed to cover lots of the questions that I am asked by the class. This has helped with their understanding and also with the amount of material I have to prepare for the class.
