5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent PIC introduction, 24 May 2001
By A Customer
This is an excellent book for beginners. It is still very useful even if you do have experience, reminding you of techniques you may have forgotten. It is clearly written in plain English helping you through examples and exercises to ensure you really do grasp the basics before moving on to more complicated ideas. If you are after just one PIC programming book, I would highly recommend this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent introduction to Pic chips, 28 Feb 1999
By A Customer
This book takes us through the features of the 16c57 processor giving examples of how each of the functions works and exercises to re-enforce their use. It then looks at the 16c71 and 16c50x chips and describes their differences from the 16c57.

Given its neat presentation and price it is easily the best value for money introduction to pics I've come across.
