5.0 out of 5 stars A pragmatic guide with practical tools for managing life., 17 Jan 1999
By A Customer
An excellent DIY approach to various aspects of managing in an inreasingly demanding world. Written in clear, everyday non-jargon language, supported by practical exercises and case studies, this book not only provides some of the traditional approaches to everyday managing problems but gives brilliant and challenging ways of reframing and thinking things through and experiencing them differently.

Uncluttered, good size text, well presented. I've reommended it now to lots of students.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best books on the subject, very accessible, 10 Dec 1998
By A Customer
The approach is holistic in the sense that it addresses work and personal aspects of human performance. The book is written in concise and accesible prose, devoid of jargon or pretension. The layout engages the reader/user by presenting a visual impression that is uncluttered and exciting. There are many practical exercises to encourage new thinking and practice for the reader. As the book deals with its subjects on a generic basis so it should appeal to a generic audience.
