4.0 out of 5 stars An Essential Read., 24 Dec 2009
A great little book for anyone interested in becoming a psychotherapist or purely interested in what a psychotherapist does. Definately worth adding to your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautifully Written, 20 Nov 2009
This review is from: Art of Psychotherapy (Paperback)
Storr's 'The Art of Psychotherapy' is a very readable and to-the-point introduction to (analytical) psychotherapy. He eschews jargon and technical words and describes for the layman, patient and practitioner, what psychotherapy is, the people who conduct it, the range of cases it covers and possible outcomes of the psycho-therapeautic process.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still very much worth reading, 28 Sep 2009

This review is from: Art of Psychotherapy (Paperback)
Rather dated now but still very much worth reading. A complete absence of psychobabble- Storr is crisp, clear and to the point.
