4.0 out of 5 stars A warm hearted story, 25 April 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Another Man's Child (Paperback)
A romantic departure for this well loved author from Liverpool's heartlands

Grieving for her lost husband, Molly May escapes from her vicious mother in law to give birth to a lovely daughter. Alone in the wolrd, she agrees to wet nurse a motherless baby. When that baby dies and her own child is mistakenly claimed by the Father's family, Molly is afraid to tell the truth. Caught in a web of deciet, Molly falls in love with her employer Nathan Collins, only to be torn from both him and her own child when she discovers her husband is still alive. Over the years Molly has to suffer the pain of that first lie until a heroic act brings the story to its climax.

Known for her wonderful family stories, Francis is one of the libraries' most borrowed authors. This slightly more romantic saga will not disappoint her legion of fans. Linda Sole
