Life Changing, Passionate, and Personal, 29 Sep 2004
Emma has surpassed all her previous writing with this book. The structure of the book, working through key life and spirit development themes, is inspired, and moves the reader on in a way which gathers momentum. Into this are woven personal insights and revelations into the soul of the author, a deep thread of philosophy and morality, and a compelling exhortation to become what one has the potential for. It is both a moving and an intelligent book, combining the insights of an excellent and well read mind, with passion, love and engagement with life. The technique of journeying into the heart and spirit of the material through the personal examples in italics has been used before by the Author and is used to very great effect here. Emma pulls no punches. This is challenging and powerful. I think a lot of you will be moved and inspired as I have been. It needs both reading through as a whole and also dipping into to focus on specific aspects. If you have read and liked Emma's work before you must read this, if you have an affinity for the natural world this will bring that love alive in ways you never imagined, if you are curious about the Pagan or Druid path this book will offer you a powerful life enhancing path. I strongly recommend it.

This is a book which pushes the boundaries, challenges preconceptions and makes druidry real, alive and full of the deepest connections. It is a book which, from its first words, challenges the individual, expressing a view and understanding of wild spirituality that some would, perhaps, consider illogical and unfounded in reality. But what the author has done is re-establish and re-inforce the basic concepts of a magical earth based wild spirituality. Wild, free and wonderful! This book is about expressing spirituality through individuality, freedom, beauty and more. For this reader it is inspirational.

Ease into understanding, 19 Aug 2006
From the start of this book to the very end, I felt like I was on a very blessed journey into simple truth. Ms Orr's writing style is one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of reading and because of her life filled flowing style, one that I'm sure matches her spoken voice, I understood not only her written themes but I found myself touched by the deeper messages within. "Living Druidry" was an inspirational read for me as it convinced me that the things I feel and have always about life and a respect for nature are not odd, but good and natural. It convinced me that the path of Druidry that I have chosen is also correct and good - a natural way for me to view my life and how it intertwines with all things seen and unseen around me.
I highly recommend this read to anyone who seeks a spiritual connection with this Universe we live in. You don't have to be a Druid, Bard, Ovate, Wiccan, or on any pagan path to gain the blessings that are contained in this lovely peaceful work. I would highly recommend this to my Christian and Muslim friends too - The spirit within this book might just be a start to gaining the so needed peace, acceptance and understanding that our society has never seemed capable of grasping.
This book, plain and simple, gave me such a blessing of inner peace. It didn't sell me anything, nor did it try to convert me. No, Emma's words simply told me that living is okay and the path I choose is mine and mine alone - and that's okay too.
