About the Author
Anne Nicholls is a qualified therapist with over 20 years' experience. She has a Masters degree in advanced psychotherapy training - She has a private counselling practice, works as a volunteer counsellor for mental health charity MIND and provides on-line counselling via ISP's LineOne's Ask Anne page - She lives in Birmingham.

I have just finished reading this excellent book explaining all about how to understand the choices we decide upon in the relationships we make and what to do if we run into uncertainty or difficulty in our relationships. The book is particularly easy to read and understand, and what`s more important, to apply to one`s own real life situations. I would highly recommend it to all who are seeking to resolve stuff, for example, repeated behaviour and the `falling down the same hole` syndrome. How to recognise when you`re being set up is also tackled, as is setting yourself up, and how to recognise those warning signals we all sometimes ignore. The book would also be helpful for anyone mebarking on a career in therapy or counselling.

Make Love Work for You truly is a toolkit for happiness. It is written in such a way that it is easy to read and understand. The author uses real situations to illustrate her methods which are really useful and interesting.
The book gently talks you through any past relationship mistakes you may have made and shows you how to rid yourself of any accumulated baggage and how then to take control of your choices. It also teaches you how to negotiate without being aggressive or critical.
I shall be recommending this book to many people and buying it as a gift. After having read this I feel far more positive about life in general and have already used the 'tools' successfully. Thank you Anne Nicholls.

This book is a definite cut above the usual run of self-help manuals. I found it well written, accessible and full of sound advice. The author comes across as wise and likeable; she even manages to be funny in places. The book was very helpful to me and I'd recommend it unreservedly.
