2.0 out of 5 stars A touch dissapointed, 24 Nov 2003
Having had a little experience with turntables, i bought this book with hope it could help fill in some of the blanks and maybe lead me a little further along the path of how to dj. Unfortunately i found this book to be very basic to say the least as it was no more than stating the obvious. If you have no idea how to use turntables then this may be good for you, however, if you have enough knowledge to turn the turntables on, then i wouldnt bother!

3.0 out of 5 stars Very helpful but gets boaring, 29 Sep 2002
I found this book very interesting at first but around the middle it got boaring because most of the book was text, some colour and graphics could of helped me a bit more. Alot of information about technical jargon, incouragement from other DJ's has helped alot in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 2 April 2003
By A Customer
I found this book incredibly helpful and really liked all the quotes from famous DJs.

Although the other book with this title was alright, I found this one much more helpful and useful.

2.0 out of 5 stars dont bother...
this is not the best book on the market, by far. the topics raised are important elements, but there is no depth. and, as it was printed in 2002, it is completly out of touch. Read more
