About the Author

The Central YMCA is the UK's leading fitness training association. Susie Dinan is an expert on fitness and the Senior Clinical Exercise and Research Fellow at the Royal Free Hospital and University College of Medicine in London. She is also a consultant to YMCA Fitness Industry Training and Consultant to the Osteoporosis Society. Dr Craig Sharp was for several years Director of Physiological Services at British Olympic Medical Centre, and is currently Professor of Sports Science at Brunel University and Honorary Professor at Stirling University where he lectures on ageing and exercise.
