2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 22 Feb 2002
By A Customer
Fans of Sean Bean reading this biography and hoping for indepth information about his life and career are in for a big disappointment. The author provides plenty of peripheral information but does not touch upon the true character of her subject and the 'sugary' anecdotes of friends and colleagues, on which she heavily relies, present an image of Bean which is frankly too good to be true. Even his failed marriages are given the same saccharine treatment. The photographs, however, are excellent.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sean Bean. Biography, 2 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This is surely a must for all Sharpe fans.At last a concise reference to all the works performed by Sean Bean. There are many quotes from fellow phesbians, all agreeing that Sean was an easy going at times private individual who had a high acting ability. There are a few photographs in the biography but could have definitely included some more.It would have been also interesting to have the views of the actor himself, unless he was too busy following Sheffield United or in the pub with the lads!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sean Bean: The Biography, 3 July 2004

Truly terrible. This is one of the worst books I have ever read. It is a collection of film reviews and critics comments strung together with sycophantic rubbish. This book does no justice to the subject. Reveals little that could not have been read in the newspapers.
