I bought this atlas with its 'large scale mapping' to go touring in Galicia and Leon in northern Spain. Once off the carretera nacional and on to the local road network it proved hopeless. Not only were junctions innacurately shown but some roads simply did not exist or turned to dirt. Despite its 'large scale' so few towns and villages were shown that it was not even possible at times to ask for directions.In getting us completely lost this atlas did lead us into some beautifully remote and untouched areas of spain but in a motorcaravan on mountainous roads which turned to dirt it was a little too exciting and the atlas has been binned.

I bought this atlas to go touring in Leon and Galicia in Northern Spain. Not only were many junctions incorrectly shown but a number of roads simply did not exist or turned to dirt. So few towns and villages were marked that it wasnt even possible to ask for directions! We got very lost with the help of this badly researched Atlas and consequently it has gone in the dustbin.
