2.0 out of 5 stars Good content ruined by poor presentation., 15 Jun 2000
The entries in this book are concise and informative. BUT, finding a pub by its location is immensely and infuriatingly difficult. Having found a location on the map, you first of all have to work out what county it's in - very difficult on the poor quality map. Next, you have to check on another page in what section of the book that particular county appears. Then, you have to look in yet another place to see on what pages in the book that section occurs. Some locations marked on the map don't seem to feature anywhere! This could all have been avoided by a decent index of place names, rather than the index of pub names, which is not much use unless you already know the pub you're looking for.
