Baedeker's Portugal. The quintessential and intimately informative guide to every city, town, village and hamlet it used to be; this book is not.This is no longer the guide for anyone wishing to explore Portugal. The AA has managed
to turn this into another of their excellent
motorway and road guides which wiil direct you to
all the places you already know, with the usual
slightly informative background of principal
places.Probably better than the Guide maps provided free with car hire. I bought this new
Guide but am left still looking for a proper Guide to Portugal.
