I recently attended the selection process for a rather large UK airline. In preparation I bought this book and it proved to be invaluable. There are many different styles of tests and this book and all the answers are conveniently provided at the book so you can check your progress.

If nothing else, this just gets the old grey cells working again. I personally had done very little maths other than normal arithmetic for many years.

I heartily recommend this, particularly if you are on the job market and expecting to be doing aptitude tests involving number literacy.

This book is absolutely brilliant. I hate numerical reasoning tests and I have always struggled with them. My mental arithmetic is poor and this book helps you work through all the questions without the need for a calculator. I spent two days going through all the questions in this book. I sat a numerical reasoning test today and found it easy. The book has lots of very useful tips and "tricks" which make understanding and answering the question very easy. It also has lots of questions, and more importantly lots of worked solutions. There are a few errors, but these are obvious ones and I would call them typos rather than errors. This books effectively lets you "beat the system" - BUY IT!

I found this book really useful when I needed to do a numerical reasoning test for a big firm. As an arts graduate this was just the refresher I needed to give me that confidence boost. I passed my test! There are a couple of small errors in the answers section but nevertheless it's a valuable resource if you need to brush up on your maths skills.
