5.0 out of 5 stars Good All-round Guide, 9 Jan 2001
By A Customer
What I particularly liked about this book was its coverage of the preparation for a presentation, as well as the delivery.

It explained WHAT I needed to do, HOW to do it, and WHY. Well worth the price as far as I'm concerned.

5.0 out of 5 stars How to be a great presenter, 30 May 2001
By A Customer

I bought this book, I admit, after some hesitation - not ANOTHER "how to" book on presentations. But Andrew Bradbury is top rate in his approach to the subject. Why? He writes clearly, simply, and with obvious experience about presentations in the workplace, and elsewhere. Andrew stresses the need to understand your audience as the best way to effective presentations and I found the frequent practical examples and short case studies refreshingly relevant. Much of my own work focuses on communication, both inside the company and with our customers, and after going on several seminars I thought I knew most of the tricks of the trade. Bradbury also emphasises the inportance of preparation and rehearsal. I learned some extremely useful tips from Andrew Bradbury, and highly recommend the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!!!, 13 Aug 2004
By B. Sparks "bsparks30" (UK West Midlands) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
For someone who is used to running presentations, training, corporate speeches, Sales presentations etc.. I found this book to be a fantastic refresher - in all areas.
It's easy to read and follows a logical order of how to prepare your audience, room, speech, material, objectives and many more areas so important when running a seuccessful speech/presentation.
Whether it's the first Presentation you have been asked to put together, or you are an experienced presenter this book is the only book you'll ever need!!!
A great buy and well worth the £7.99.
Tips include:
* the right colours to use on Power-Point slides
* selecting the right visual aids
* the words we use
* Body Language
* nerves

and too many other things to mention, top class book !!!!
