Book Description

"...some tremendous ideas for keeping in touch and building credibility." -- Andrew Lightbody, PA Consulting Group

"As someone who reads about four business books each month, I can honestly say that this slim volume is packed with some of the best, practical advice I have read for a long time." -- David Cook

"Practical, useful, but most of all cheerful! Surprising how much more readable that makes it." -- Richard Popple, PerService Ltd.

"Foster aims not to produce elaborate market analyses but to provide intelligent people with tips on how to survive. So there are self- marketing ideas galore. There are also notions on keeping customers. With a nice ironic touch, Foster, himself a consultant, produces as his final suggestion -- writing a book." -- Daily Telegraph

"This book should greatly help those who are good to get that fact across fast." -- John de Uphaugh, Deputy Chief Executive, Dewe Rogerson Europe

"...read it straight off. It's a great little book and it's more than paid for itself already by reminding me to do something important!" -- Michael Rigby

If your livelihood is based on your ability to seek, obtain and serve clients, you'll find strategies and techniques to help you to be more successful in this second edition of a very popular book. Anyone who is self employed or freelance will find this book loaded with good advice based on solid experience. 5.0 out of 5 stars A highly useful tool, whoever you are in business, 2 Feb 2000
By A Customer
This book is a great information tool. It prompts you to maintain all the things you know you should do in business, improving your working practice. Added to which it delivers thoughtful and relevant ideas to help you better yourself alround. The book may address the issues of an independant consultant, but it is as relavent to a graduate starting out as it is to a senior executive. A wonderful addition to anyone's briefcase.
