Product Description
Synopsis
Provides ideas and advice on brainstorming alone or in a group to come up with ideas that really work.

From the Author
It can be something of a dirty word - 'brainstorming'. Mention it and count the raised eyebrows.

Why the mixed reputation? The reason, I think, is that many people don't know how to conduct a brainstorming session properly.

Brainstorming is a structured process to help us think creatively. It doesn't have to be complicated; but it does have to be disciplined. Forget 'outside the box'; if you want brainstorming to work, you have to use a few simple guidelines.

This book starts with the essential rules of brainstorming and goes on to offer some other practical techniques that will help you generate new ideas. Here, you'll find just what you need to make your brainstorming sessions effective, productive and fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quick guide to lateral thinking techniques, 29 Aug 2001
By A Customer
Fantastic little book which gives loads of information on brainstorming techniques. Gives just the right amount of background history to 'brainstorming' without becoming dull and heavy on the theory.

The information is concise and gets to the point. Would be very useful as background reading and in conjuction with brainstorming consultants or facilitators.
