When I first thought about reading this book I was a bit apprehensive, but when I did start to read it I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed reading this book very much and have since when finished I have actually read more than 6 times all together from cover to cover, and when read more than once noticed other great bits about his book. When reading this book the characters seemed to jump out at you, and it is a great book and recommed it to anyone to read it.

I really enjoyed this book and have went on to read the follow up books- The Girl From Penny Lane and Liverpool Taffy. They both continue the life of Nellie and Lilac.Would recommend all 3.
