Product Description

Forward this email to ten friends. Each of those friends must forward it to ten friends. Maybe one of those friends of friends of friends will be one of my friends. If this email ends up in my inbox within a week, I won't slit the bitch's throat. Can you afford not to send this onto ten friends? Vacation Killer Leo Sharpe's life is shattered when his wife Laura suddenly disappears. His desperate need to find her turns to obsession when he becomes convinced she's the latest victim of The Vacation Killer who has claimed eleven lives already - is Laura going to be the twelfth? The MO is the same every time - a woman disappears and within hours inboxes around the world receive a threatening email. A few days later, grim evidence of the victim's death is delivered to the police. But in Laura's case, nothing is sent. Has the killer spared her life? Why? And for how long? For Leo, the clock is ticking - he needs to do everything in his power to stop the killer before it's too late.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic first book!, 31 Oct 2009
By Michaela Stein (Hamburg, Germany) - See all my reviews
A really thrilling story!
The plot was quite new and had some surprising twists and a great finish. The figures are well drawn, especially Leo and Bookwalter. I enjoyed reading it very much and am looking for the second one.

5.0 out of 5 stars No stopping 'Stop Me', 20 Aug 2009
By A. J. Forrest (Spain) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Stop Me has it all for readers of murder thrillers; it also has it all for the film industry to capitalise in the neo-noir mould for the Internet era. It starts with a chilling e-mail spam and surges through all the emotions of a victim's husband being run ragged in his attempt to make sense of it all. The story examines the mind of a sicko whose confession is ignored, and hints at the possibility of involvement by unexpected characters. But the prose is at no time pretentious and overdone - Parker has a strong storyline and doesn't need to overdo tension, blood and gore, or mind games. We'll hear a lot more from and about this author. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never A Dull Moment!, 17 Nov 2009

This is how thrillers should be. Richard Jay Parker's first novel is right up-to-date with an intriguing plot that catches your attention at every turn.
In today's internet fuelled world, the email spamming that creates a whole new world of uncertainty with the main characters emotions is both original and questions your own actions.
Can you afford to ignore all of your spam messages?
Looking forward to the 2nd novel!
