5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Brit Noir, 21 April 2001
By A Customer
Stephen Larkin is down in London looking for a runaway girl. On the way he meets born again Christian gangsters, transexual prostitutes, lesbian pimps and vicious gangsters. Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz he also learns the meaning of home. Brilliant. The best British crime novel published this year, if not the best crime novel, period.
