5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent tool - especially for the Maths Phobic!, 21 Mar 2000
I find myself at 41 years suddenly revisiting my worst schoolday nightmare - 0' Level maths - in an attempt to help my Son through his GCSE course. I am very pleased to have found this book that I not only actually understand but find has motivated me to consider sitting the exam myself! - The book is the teacher I felt I never had at school. Most maths books assume far too much existing skill in the reader but this book clearly uses instruction by worked example that reflects human thought processes. An excellent effort -highly recommended.
