3.0 out of 5 stars Good reference book on Bricklaying, 30 Oct 2001
By Rick Hughes - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is often a prescribed course reading book for Bricklayers while undergoing their apprentice training.
Not particularly a 'how to do it' diy guide, more of a reference work. But obviously useful if you want to understand what the bricklayers on your build should be doing, best practise etc.
It is part of a series of 3 books, which cover all aspects of the work of a Bricklayer.
The other books are not very surprisingly called Brickwork 2 and Brickwork 3.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential Reference for keen DIY or apprentice builder, 4 Jul 1999
By A Customer
Although aimed as a reference book for further education students/apprentices. It is the first in a series of 3, that covers all stages of the building process from setting out to raising the roof. It also includes features on less popular subjects and is as useful to a builder as a trowel or level. One that you'll be sure to keep and refer to in years ahead.
