About the Author

This is Joseph Theobald's second book, his first being Marvin Wanted More. He trained at Falmouth Art College, and is currently living and helping to build a boat in Spain.

I bought 'Marvin Gets Mad' for my 5 year old son as we have always enjoyed reading the first Marvin book immensely. 'Marvin Gets Mad' had us howling with laughter as Marvin becomes crosser and crosser, growing mad horns, mad feet and a mad tail. The illustrations are absolutely wonderful - incredibly colourful and Marvin is so expressive! And the story is just the right length to hold interest. The stickers at the end are a great addition. Just a really fantastic children's book!!

my 19 month old twins love this book above all others. they ask for me to read it over and over again and can now repeat 'i want my apple' and my favourite 'calm down'. they absolutely love this book. i already have 'marvin wants more' and now i am waiting for the author to complete a trilogy with a marvin and molly love story. we love this book!
