Product Description

Review
'[a] ridiculously enjoyable anti-fairytale a witty and engaging treat. I read it in one sitting with a big smile on my face' Becky Stradwick (Borders UK), The Bookseller

Product Description
Blart is not an average boy. He lives on a pig farm with his grandfather and doesn't care about being heroic or famous or legendary, but he does know that if you want to catch a pig you have to sneak up behind it and take it by surprise. So when a great wizard visits and explains that humankind depends on Blart joining his quest, Blart says no - until the wizard threatens his pigs. Reluctantly, Blart embarks on a very epic quest stuffed with brilliant characters: a feisty princess who likes dragons, a warrior who's a big softie at heart, a disaffected dwarf, and evil Zorab, trapped in a mountain, waiting for his minions to dig him out.

As this is a Childrens book - my 10 year old loved it - he laughed out loud every time he picked it up.

He's looking forward to the next Blart book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, 14 Mar 2006
I don't get what the last guy is going on about. This is the funniest book I've read for ages - I laughed out loud time after time (and how often does a book make you do that). Blart is a hero like no other I've read about. Hopeless, lazy and cowardly and yet still you end up loving him. The plot zooms along , it's packed with great characters and there's lots of surprising twists before the end. I would recommend this book very strongly.

4.0 out of 5 stars BLART RULES!, 27 May 2007

This book was very funny Blart is a great character he is horrid and doesn't want to be a hero. He meets a powerful wizard Capablanca who doesn't like to admit it when he's wrong, they meet a warrior Beowulf who wants to be a Knight, they meet a moody Princess, Princess Lois and a dwarf who doesn't like the word short Tungsten and Pig the horse with wings.

Great funny book.
