this book is amazing, it turns talkers into doers, i keep putting off my gap year(i've just finished uni) but after reading this i am well up for going.

i has a great layout with small chapters, i read the whole thing on my way home from uni, which useful hit and tips, you really will get the travel bug if you read it.

Tom is also the author of the virgin travellers guide, if you have to pick between the books pick 'before you go' the content i feel is better and the paper is nicer lol

hello, this is the first book i read about gapyear, obviously as i was looking into taking one, and it is one of the best books i have ever read, so funny, witty, and young! and it definately is the best gapyear book i have read so far and i have read a few. if you want a great book to read that will make you burst out into laughter and prepare your for a gapyear then read this!
