"Praise for Warriors of Alavna 'Riveting adventures in a story which is also crammed full of historical interest' Independent

Product Description

"Riveting adventures in a story which is also crammed full of historical interest." - "Independent". When the thick fog of the Veil descends again, Dan and Ursula expect to return to present day Britain. Instead, the treacherous mist transports them to an ancient world very like the one they have just escaped. But the battle they fought in only hours before is distant history to those around them and their deeds on the battlefield are legend. Dan and Ursula have travelled forwards through time, but how far? What has happened to their old allies and enemies? To find a way back, they have to piece the clues together and use all their skills of survival - as it seems they were not the only ones to step through the mist. Subtly and cleverly woven around Arthurian legend, "Warriors" is action-packed and completely compelling.

5.0 out of 5 stars More please!!, 28 Sep 2003
By K. Oatley (England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Having read and enjoyed "Warriors of Alavna", I was well chuffed to find the sequel. For the most part, "Warriors of Cammlan" was as descriptive and fascinating as its prequel and I was lovin' it, lovin' it, lovin' it - until I reached the last page. The ending was enigmatic... mysterious... highly frustrating!! There has to be another sequel!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Warriors of Camlann, 17 Jun 2003
By A.M.Burton (Brighton, East sussex United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This is the long awaited sequel to Warriors of Alavna and is equally good if not better than it's forerunner. The story is cleverly based on the Arthurian legend although using the time before Arthur became King and so gives a different slant to the time.
It is action packed with our intrepid duo , Dan and Ursula, finding more adventures behind the veil. The descriptive
passages are superb ----- one can almost smell the scents of battle and the horses. The writing is good all through and the story grips one from the opening lines until the end.
I can recommend this book to both adults and teenagers as it tells a rattling good yarn. I personally shall look forward to further books in this series

It was an amazing book filled with action and a little romance. The legend of King Aurthur was present through the entire book and it was portrayed well by High King Arturus Ursus. I LOVED this book and I recomend it to anyone who likes acton packed books.
