Product Description
When Grandfather bear has his two little grandchildren to stay he is sure that they are going to be very good indeed. No trouble at all in fact. So he tucks them up in bed, goes downstairs to read his book and even feels so proud of his ideally behaved grandchildren that he plans to take them on a picnic the next day. But as we all know, love is blind, and in this grandfathers case, deaf as well! A brilliant picture book that will entertain and amuse old and young alike as words and pictures do not always tell the same story.
From the Author
I had great fun writing this story, imagining what a pair of little bears might get up to behind their doting grandfather's back. When he thinks they're fast asleep in bed, they're actually having a pillow fight on his bed, raiding the kitchen and hiding in the garden. Grandfather believes they're as good as gold. You, the readers, will know better as you follow Eleanor Taylor's charming pictures.
